So we are finally into our new building. It's been a long 6 months from negotiations, to sale, to planning, to building, and to moving our plant. It feels amazing to have the end in sight. We are not fully operational as of yet, but the plant is in place, and we should be producing water by the end of the day today.
One of the surprising things about this whole move, is despite having twice the space as we had in the previous building, it still feels too small. We have stuff everywhere. I thought we'd be able to work out of this for years to come. My old building we had for 5 years. We outgrew it a while ago, but with creative use of space, we allowed ourselves to run out of there for years. In this new building, it doesn't feel like we have much more room. The office is way bigger, and that is awesome, but the plant still looks full. I was so worried about it, I put in an offer for the unit next to us as well. It's still for sale, luckily, so I thought I'd better buy myself some insurance for the future. If we grow too fast, I may find myself in a position where I have to move again, and I don't want to have to do that for a long long time.
